This only develops through natural weathering. The formation of the visually appealing surface begins after 2-3 weeks and is only complete after 1.5 to 3 years. The alternation between wet and dry weather is crucial for the formation of the protective layer. If there are surface areas that are not exposed to this weathering, the vibrant, elegant rust patina will not develop there.
