Substructure STEPS | Feet

Description

The STEPS substructure takes the CLARA and NORA planters to the next level.

This makes the buckets, which are 60x60 cm and larger, movable and can be repositioned using a pallet truck.
The basic structure is made of galvanized steel; for Corten steel planters, the feet are also optionally made of Corten steel. Body and feet are therefore a single, seamless unit. A robust, durable, professional-grade construction, also suitable for olive trees and similar plants.

Production takes place on modern CNC machines with optimal dimensional accuracy. No comparison to cheap imports from the Far East. We are committed to our German production site and handle all manufacturing in-house. That's our quality promise!

Technical data

Delivery includes base plate, strut (100) and feet for screwing together, screws not visible on the outside

The dimensions of the raised bed or planter increase by approximately 9.5 cm.

Material: Substructure galvanized steel 1.5 mm (60s and 70s) or 2 mm (80s, 100s and 150s)

Base made of galvanized steel (for anthracite) or Corten steel 2 mm

Replaces the old shelves, which are no longer needed for this purpose

Weight varies depending on size, from approx. 15 kg to approx. 30 kg (size 100x100 cm) / Self-assembly kit

CORTEN notes:

Delivery condition: mill finish

The weatherproof structural steel is processed in its mill-finished state. Therefore, in its normal delivery condition, the elements are mill-finished and either not rusted or only slightly rusted.

Patina development

During the production and processing of the raw steel sheets, no patina has yet formed on the surface. This only develops through natural weathering. The formation of the visually appealing surface begins after 2-3 weeks and is only complete after 1.5 to 3 years. The alternation between wet and dry weather is crucial for the formation of the protective layer. If there are surface areas that are not exposed to this weathering, the vibrant, elegant rust patina will not develop there.
