The trellis for our URBAN raised bed – now available to help the garden "you've always dreamed of" continue to grow. Just like the URBAN raised bed itself, available as a kit with many options.
Designed as a kit, this trellis allows you to extend beds or containers from one meter in length to a total height of 180 cm. The trellis itself is 113 cm high. Whether for linear models or L-, U-, or H-shaped ones, there's always a creative solution. The Urban trellis can be fitted with the CLIMBING WALL along just the long side, along the entire length, or only partially; corner or double-sided installation is also possible; horizontal crossbars can be added when the supports are on opposite sides. Whether tomatoes, beans, cucumbers, roses, or wisteria, all aspects of your garden will find a home and bring you joy. You can let the plants climb freely, tie them up, or train them. You can fix climbing stakes at the top and cover the trellis with foil to protect it from early and late frosts.
All sets offered are designed for mounting on outside corners! Many other variations are possible.

All parts of the climbing aid are made of 2 mm thick, genuine Corten steel and are securely screwed to the existing holes of the raised bed using specially designed brackets, either at the corners or the connection points of the segments. Angle steel supports and crossbeams provide the vertical and horizontal connections, creating a stable tension frame. The holes in these elements allow for the creation of a lattice structure using steel cables (available as accessories) or other ropes, providing effective support for all climbing plants as well as plants that need to be tied down.

Delivery condition: mill finish
The weatherproof structural steel is processed in its mill-finished state. Therefore, in its normal delivery condition, the elements are mill-finished and either not rusted or only slightly rusted.
Patina development
During the production and processing of the raw steel sheets, no patina has yet formed on the surface. This only develops through natural weathering. The formation of the visually appealing surface begins after 2-3 weeks and is only complete after 1.5 to 3 years. The alternation between wet and dry weather is crucial for the formation of the protective layer. If there are surface areas that are not exposed to this weathering, the vibrant, elegant rust patina will not develop there.
