SOLIS – space-creating idea arrangement
At SOLIS, the planter series with the NORA and CARLOTTA models is combined with the large URBAN raised bed.
The ingenious part: GEIGER exclusively manufactures a robust trellis for this raised bed , which itself offers various mounting options. In the standard version, a crossbar is screwed between the supports at the top and bottom, creating a tension frame over one meter high. This can be filled with wire rope, netting, or twine, providing a permanent climbing aid. The SOLIS garden feature realizes an idea that can be used both as a standalone piece and as a boundary or privacy screen. At almost five meters long and 185 centimeters high, it offers ample space for tomatoes, beans, or peas, framed at the front, left, and right by herbs, vegetables, and flowers.
SOLIS is an idea that requires only a few tools to implement and will enhance your garden. Please ensure a level and stable surface to guarantee long-lasting enjoyment of Scala. This design offers the potential for any type of planting. Create the ideal conditions by varying the substrate, always ensuring good drainage by incorporating a drainage layer – perfect for both the steps and the plants. Since all containers are bottomless, the plants root in the surrounding soil. The containers can be connected laterally, but this requires drilling the necessary holes yourself, which is easily done with Corten steel. If you prefer bottoms, these can be purchased from our accessories range.

Delivery condition: mill finish
The weatherproof structural steel is processed in its mill-finished state. Therefore, in its normal delivery condition, the elements are mill-finished and either not rusted or only slightly rusted.
Patina development
During the production and processing of the raw steel sheets, no patina has yet formed on the surface. This only develops through natural weathering. The formation of the visually appealing surface begins after 2-3 weeks and is only complete after 1.5 to 3 years. The alternation between wet and dry weather is crucial for the formation of the protective layer. If there are surface areas that are not exposed to this weathering, the vibrant, elegant rust patina will not develop there.
