Urban Bank ZWO 500 C – the uniquely beautiful seating idea in the vibrant ambience of Corten steel and plants.
The combination of our large URBAN raised beds from the PALATINO series with benches or planters from the Woodpecker PRO range or Lotte planters creates wonderful seating options in a variety of sizes. URBAN always forms the backbone of these designs. Our ideas start at a size of 200 cm and go up to 500x400 cm, but that's by no means the limit.
The fundamental prerequisite for this design freedom is the variety of segments available for our URBAN series, which allows for the creation of niches and corners with internal corners that can be complemented or filled with benches. The perfect size can be assembled for any garden, courtyard, company premises, or public space. As an alternative to slatted firewood loungers, Lotte storage bins (Cube-Box) can also be used. These offer storage space, for example, for seat cushions or, again, for firewood. Corten steel and wood form a warm and vibrant symbiosis.
The use of the screw-on trellises on URBAN allows for configuration as privacy screens, shaded areas, or vertical room dividers. The genuine Corten steel exudes a vibrancy and durability that is captivating and aesthetically unparalleled.
All models are made of genuine Corten steel – professional quality from GEIGER – offering exceptional durability and the well-known advantages of our modular system. Lightweight construction and easy handling of the individual parts ensure a truly enjoyable experience.
The appropriate climbing aid allows the object to be expanded into a privacy screen or even a roof for cold-sensitive plants (e.g. tomatoes).

Delivery condition: mill finish
The weatherproof structural steel is processed in its mill-finished state. Therefore, in its normal delivery condition, the elements are mill-finished and either not rusted or only slightly rusted.
Initially, until the rust patina develops, rust may flake off by up to 0.05 mm; please factor this into your installation plans. Once the patina has formed, genuine Corten steel will not develop any further rust streaks.
Patina development
During the production and processing of the raw steel sheets, no patina has yet formed on the surface. This only develops through natural weathering. The formation of the visually appealing surface begins after 2-3 weeks and is only complete after 1.5 to 3 years. The alternation between wet and dry weather is crucial for the formation of the protective layer. If there are surface areas that are not exposed to this weathering, the vibrant, elegant rust patina will not develop there.
