Description
CLARA and NORA planters/raised beds (square base) from the »Palatino« series are available in various designs with a stable base and feet – fully assembled and shipped only via freight carrier. The overall height of the planter increases by approximately 3.5/4.5 cm depending on the size of the planter (distance between planter and ground).
The planters, ranging in size from 60x60 cm to 100x100 cm, can be fitted with a substructure made of 1.5 or 2 mm sheet metal and equipped with feet or casters. The robust base replaces the insert of the standard model and is securely screwed to the side panels. The substructure is compatible with all materials we offer. Zinc, anthracite, and green versions come with zinc-colored feet, while the Corten steel planter has feet made of the same material (Corten). Each caster has a load capacity of 100 or 125 kg.
Since the large containers weigh almost 60 kg, we offer them fully assembled (shipped via freight carrier). The smaller containers are easy to handle and can also be ordered as a self-assembly kit. All our containers are manufactured to precise industrial standards and assembled using screws; their unique stability comes from the folded sheet metal, making them resource-efficient and highly durable. The surfaces require no maintenance.
The substructure, both with feet and with casters, is also listed separately for purchase: under ACCESSORIES, so it can be bought and installed later.
Production takes place on modern CNC machines with optimal dimensional accuracy. No comparison to cheap imports from the Far East. We are committed to our German production site and handle all manufacturing in-house. That's our quality promise!

- The individual elements can be arranged in a row or in other forms; due to their size, they tend to be solitary pieces.
- Delivery includes a base (water-permeable) made of galvanized steel 1.5/2 mm, which is screwed on (not welded!).
- Bucket material thickness 1 mm, please refer to the bucket description for further details.
- Plastic rollers, Ø 65/80 mm, natural color, load capacity per roller 100/125 kg
- Can be used as a large decorative planter or for direct planting with potted plants, trees or useful plants.

Information about CORTEN steel
Delivery condition: mill finish
The weather-resistant structural steel is processed in its mill-finished state. Therefore, the elements are delivered in their mill-finished state and are either not rusted or only slightly rusted. Experience the transformation within a few days – an information sheet on surface treatment is enclosed.
Patina development
During the production and processing of the raw steel sheets, no patina has yet formed on the surface. This only develops through natural weathering. The formation of the visually appealing surface begins after two to three weeks and is only complete after 1.5 to 3 years. The alternation between wet and dry weather is crucial for the formation of the protective layer. If there are surface areas that are not exposed to this weathering, the vibrant, elegant rust patina will not develop there.
