Description
LOTTE planter/raised bed (rectangular base shape) from the »Palatino« series in the special size of 150x50 cm.
Bucket height 50 cm, with substructure and feet 59.5 cm - fully assembled and only available as freight forwarding goods.
The specially designed, robust base is securely screwed to the side panels. The substructure can be used with all the materials we offer (Corten and anthracite). The colored sheet metal versions come with zinc-colored feet, while the Corten planter has feet made of the same material.
All our buckets are manufactured to precise industrial standards and assembled using screws; their unique stability comes from the folded sheet metal, making them resource-efficient and highly durable. The surfaces require very little maintenance.

Production takes place on modern CNC machines with optimal dimensional accuracy. No comparison to cheap imports from the Far East. We are committed to our German production site and handle all manufacturing in-house. That's our quality promise!
Technical data
- The individual elements can be arranged in a row or in other forms; due to their size, they tend to be solitary pieces.
- Supplied with a water-permeable base made of 2 mm galvanized steel, which is screwed in place.
- Material thickness of bucket 1 mm, further details can be found in the description of the bucket, anthracite sheet metal galvanized and coated, outside according to RAL 7016, inside protective lacquer.
- The versions with colored sheet metal are fitted with zinc sheet feet, the Corten bucket with feet made of Corten steel, material 2 mm.
- Can be used as a large decorative planter or for direct planting with potted plants, trees, and also useful plants.
- We strongly recommend using a drainage layer with a fleece separating it from the substrate for both the plant pot and the plants. Adequate drainage must be ensured at all times.
- Insulation is not strictly necessary, but we recommend it to protect the container and plant.

Information about CORTEN steel
Delivery condition: mill finish
The weather-resistant structural steel is processed in its mill-finished state. Therefore, in its normal delivery condition, the elements are mill-finished and either not rusted or only slightly rusted. Experience the metamorphosis – an information sheet on surface treatment is enclosed.
Patina development
During the production and processing of the raw steel sheets, no patina has yet formed on the surface. This only develops through natural weathering. The formation of the visually appealing surface begins after 2-3 weeks and is only complete after 1.5 to 3 years. The alternation between wet and dry weather is crucial for the formation of the protective layer. If there are surface areas that are not exposed to this weathering, the vibrant, elegant rust patina will not develop there.
