MAX | Corten

Description

The new conical MAX planter from the »Palatino« series, made of Corten steel, makes a statement in terms of shape and size. The planter can be used both as a cachepot and directly for filling. Thanks to our chosen construction technique, the folded sheets remain absolutely stable yet lightweight and therefore easy to handle.
We supply a base and optionally an intermediate layer for partial separation at a depth of 25 cm; this allows you to plant low potted plants above this intermediate layer or cover them with, for example, bark mulch, thus remaining flexible in your planting options.

To stabilize it, insert a stone slab inside or weigh it down at the bottom with stones, sand, etc.

The use of high-quality Corten steel makes the "Palatino" planter a unique eye-catcher in your garden or on your terrace, thanks to its rust look, which you can enjoy for a long time.

What many don't know is that Corten steel, with its original trendy look, guarantees long-lasting enjoyment, as it is virtually indestructible.

The earthy, reddish-brown color harmonizes perfectly with the greenery in your garden. Whether used as a raised bed, planter, or cachepot, it uniquely combines the advantages of back-friendly, slug-reduced working conditions with higher yields thanks to its deep humus substrate.

It shapes the garden while remaining subtle and trendy in appearance.

Production takes place on modern CNC machines with optimal dimensional accuracy. No comparison to cheap imports from the Far East. We are committed to our German production site and handle all manufacturing in-house. That's our quality promise!

Delivery condition: mill finish

The weatherproof structural steel is processed in its mill-finished state. Therefore, in its normal delivery condition, the elements are mill-finished and either not rusted or only slightly rusted.

Patina development

During the production and processing of the raw steel sheets, no patina has yet formed on the surface. This only develops through natural weathering. The formation of the visually appealing surface begins after 2-3 weeks and is only complete after 1.5 to 3 years. The alternation between wet and dry weather is crucial for the formation of the protective layer. If there are surface areas that are not exposed to this weathering, the vibrant, elegant rust patina will not develop there.
